IIFYM/FLEXIBLE Dieting? First Try at it! GREAT resources of information below

IIFYM/Flexibly Dieting!




Now this is a trend that is exploding over social media, especially over Instagram with the hashtag #IIFYM
I've been thinking about tracking macros for months but with the HSC didn't have the time to commit and properly give it a go... but now there is no excuse. 

Reading up about it, bodybuilding.com has some really great articles about the basics of IIFYM and has a calculator that works out your macronutrient breakdown (number of grams in fat, carbohydrate and protein consumed daily) 


A few other people that are really knowledgeable about the topic are Layne Norton (biolayne on instagram) and Nick Cheadle (nickcheadlefitness on instagram) these guys are super sharp when it comes to all things fitness and their client's results prove that this flexibility with dieting really works. 

Another source I recently found is The Art of Manliness Website I found this article really easy to read and super understandable, which is kinda what finally gave me the push to try it.

The fun thing about IIFYM is you can eat anything you want, just make it fit to the macros and stay within the calorie range. 

I'll give it two weeks and write a follow up post about any changes I have seen or feel.

Hey sparklers! Thanks for visiting my blog which is all things fitness, health and food! Okay so I thought It would be appropriate to do a little about me for my first post, so here are 10 things. 1. My name is Emma 2. I'm a twin 3. I've grown up playing every sport you can think of, but have a soft spot in my heart for hockey. 4. I live in my gym gear, all day everyday. 5.
