Today was the dreaded leg day! Well tbh leg day is my favourite day, coz ily squats.
Made the boyfriend tag along, which was good because we pushed each other. Thanks GUSSS hope you don't hate me haha
The workout consisted of:
WARM UP - 5 mins on erg, level 7
Leg Press - 5 sets of 6/8 (started on 40kg for warm up, then went to 3 sets of 80, and finished with a set on 100kg)
Squats - 5 sets of 6/8
SUPERSET - both 5 sets of 6/8
Leg extensions
Hamstring Curls
Bulgarian Split Squats - 5 sets of 10 (5 reps on each leg)
ABS
Side bends with kettlebell
SUPERSET - 5 sets of 8
Weighted Abdominal Crunch
Tucks on frame
COOL DOWN - Stretch
All up the session was about 60 minutes
After the session we came home and had protein shakes...in mason jars because why not.
I use cookies and cream Muscle Pharm 'COMBAT' protein purely because it tastes amazing (it doesnt taste powdery like other proteins I have tried, it literally tastes like a vanilla milkshake) and the macros are pretty good - 25g of protein, 5g carb. (Note that I am not paid or asked to advertise protein powders, I'm just commenting on my personal preference)
